Th!nc Story

th!nc Foundation is a not-for-profit Public Policy Research, Analysis and Engagement Organization based in Tshwane, Republic of South Africa. th!nc Foundation was founded in Tshwane by Dr FM Lucky Mathebula, 18th February 2013. th!nc is registered in terms of Section 6(1) of the Trust Property Control Act, 1988 (Act 57 of 1988). Our registration number is IT 559/13.

th!nc Foundation is evidence-based and transdisciplinary in approach. As a solution seeking th!nc tank it transcends the artificial intellectual barriers. th!nc's evidence-based transdisciplinary approach utilises actual data and the political economy perspective to unravel and understand socio-economic change dynamics and their effect on humanity.

th!nc Foundation does not award any grants. It is a thinking entity that provides services as determined by its board, and as a collaborative effort with partner institutions.

th!nc Foundation combines a Team of experienced professionals who have worked at various levels and capacities in the world. It provides a platform for diagnostic interventions and positions itself as a leading intellectual house in South Africa.
